Rodger, that case is really neat looking - is it a custom design? I've never seen anything like it before.

That's the EXACT reason I would love a LifeProof case. The weather in Pittsburgh is so unpredictable. It was in the 90s yesterday, rained all morning/part of the afternoon and was cooler. In the last 6 months, I can think of plenty of times I've waited in the car/where ever I was because I was on the phone and didn't want to risk getting my phone wet. What really might seal the deal is the adapter that's available so you can dock your iPhone still. I have an iHome and need a case that can be docked (believe it or not, the CandyShell fits my iHome). Having the dock adapter with the LifeProof might be a good setup!!
Hey man Ilive I'm in pittsburgh too! Nice to meet another Pittsburger It seems I have met a lot of forum members from android central from Pitt too and it was ridiculously hot the other day I was out doing yard work too

So, i was bored today and took a ride to an Apple store.....to check out cases of course

I tried on 2 of the zebra Uncommon Deflector & both didnt sit right--the top left corner was like warped back so that corner would not 'snap' into place like the other 3 corners did. So i passed on that.

Do any of you have an Uncommon Deflector with this issue? There were only 4 left on the rack & i decided not to try on alllll of them lol. After the 2nd didnt sit right i said forgetaboutit !!

On the other hand, i did eye up InCases' purple tortoise case....LOVE!!! the case fit great and looked really nice on the white phone & it matched my purple crystal home button BUT before i drop 35 smackers on it, i'm going to check out Amazon to see if they have a knock off cheaper first, if not i'll probably sucker up and get the Incase one:o lol.

Hubby found this cute "Shell with Kickstand" for me at a Verizon retailer. Super slim, low-profile case with kickstand (for both portrait & landscape use) and holster (although I probably won't use the kickstand or holster!). Not as much protection as a speck CS and the buttons are all exposed, but very lightweight and a nice change from my heavy-duty cases. Will probably still just use this at home anyway. Hub drilled a tiny hole in the side so I could attach a lanyard to it, of course!

Thanks Pink! It's nice to have a really thin and lightweight case for a change!

And now that I'm getting used to having the buttons uncovered, I am thinking about getting a mophie jp air snap to add to my mophie collection once I decide where to drill the lanyard hole!

Yw! and yes, its nice to use a minimal case once in a while - i actually was rocking my iFrogz Luxe lean case(in teal) on Monday & part of Tuesday

OoOoOoh!! So your gonna invest in a JP Air Snap - good for you when you do get it, i'd like to hear your opinion on it. I've considered getting a JP Air but they don't make it in the black/pink like the Plus comes in-so IF i did go for the Air i'd prob go with the white one

it is a great looking case tho - i seriously can't wait to get this one

btw Brin, if you don't mind the extra that the Mophie Air adds to your 4S, the OB defender shoudlnt bother you much either i would think....

I agree! I never liked bulky cases, but find that the Mophie doesn't bother me at all so I've been checking out the OB defenders more and more. That turquoise and white is just what I've been waiting on! As for kicking your A**... I guess I'll buy you a drink instead, since you're my partner in crime!

i would say yes as long as: 1) its a legit Mophie JP plus first of all(yes there are knock offs), and 2) that the guy hasnt abused the he11 out of it & the battery is no longer up to 'par'.

Regular cost if you buy from Mophie is $99 if you don't have a coupon code, which you can do a google search or call them as ask nicely. TBH, personally i dont trust craiglist, and if your able to save a bit of cash weekly and at the end of the month purchase one legit from Mophie - i would suggest that instead

Brindawithani and Pink, you two are cracking me up!! Thank you for the laugh haha!!

I saw a Life Proof case yesterday for the first time. A buddy of mine from high school's birthday was yesterday. Every year his family has a massive cookout to celebrate the 4th (and there's always birthday cake). His sister had a white Life Proof. I have to say, that thing is sharp looking!! The only thing that bugged me was the rainbow/oil spill bubble that kept popping up in between the screen and the case. I've got to admit, after seeing one in person, I'm lusting for a Life Proof!!

I'll steer clear of that mophie then. Generally though, I've had nothing but success buying from CL. Shoot, that's where my old 4 and this 4s came from...as well as a host of other devices during my phone addiction days. Lol
