Headphone adaptor?

Is there a special headphone adaptor for the ipad 2, normal adaptors don't fully plug in?

That is strange. I have Sony headphones that plug in easily and a Belken adapter that is also compatible.

It plugs in, but theres still a bit of metal showing due to the curved edge of the ipad. Also, it looks like a normal adaptor could do with being a little longer and have a curved housing to fit the ipad.

Sound is stereo so it has made a connection. It just looks, well, wrong.

Just a design thing. The ipad is pretty thin so you can expect it to be that way unless they invent a new connection.
