I bought the SGP Neo hybrid matte case (gun metal) for my ip4.

Absolutely LOVE it, great looking/feeling case. Lint and the such does not stick the soft part hardly at all.. Very slim form factor and feels good in the hand without being bulky. Lets the ip4 retain its natural shape.

While nowhere near as protective as an OB obviously, it does offer good protection, and comes with a free SGP crystal clear screen guard to boot.

Just an over all well made, good case that wont bulk up your phone.

4 1/2 of 5 stars for me

They list on SGP's site at $29 i believe, but i got mine on ebay for $26 shipped.

Wow, thank you for the heads up. Did it snap during removal/replacing? Or just snap while on phone?

Mine broke at the thinest part around the 30 pin connector, but SGP replaced it graciously long after it was out of any warranty period. I just asked, provided them a picture and they sent a replacement.

Still love mine. Use it everyday.

Mine also just snapped. I hadn't even planned on removing it. I picked it up to use and realized it had snapped.

They replaced it, but didn't have the gun metal color in at the time, so I settled for something else...and it was just never the same.

Uh oh, this has me slightly worried. I picked up the neo hybrid (love the form factor) and dremeled out a slightly larger headphone opening. There isn't much material left on the edges. Given some of the experiences referenced, I guess I should expect the outer band to have a limited life, shorter yet due to my modification.

If (or more likely when) it breaks, what's a good alternative case? I don't want anything more bulky, and having a larger opening for the headphone jack is helpful. I also like that the neo hybrid doesn't take away from the very slick design of the phone. Coming from android, I am not used to the accessories: there are almost too many case options!

Me too. This is the longest I've stuck with anything. They put the carbon fiber back on at CTIA back in March. I still think it looks beautiful. And with the Ciderz, everyone thinks I have a new case on.

Well you convinced me, i just ordered a similar setup. A case mate jet, a skinit skin in carbon fiber.

Ill post some pics when i get it all set up.
