I got my hands on the new Case-Mate barely there for iPad 2, it is a thin back snap that features a soft touch coating for added grip. Obviously, with these kinds of cases one does not expect much protection (but you know this when purchasing), however the case itself fits perfectly on the device, allowing access to all ports/button and some added grip with the soft touch backing.
Similar to that of the iPhone models, it barely adds any weight or bulk and protects the back of your iPad 2 from being scratched.
