If you sprung for the iPhone 4 you may have noticed that the device uses a smaller microSIM, and not the regular-sized SIM that we've been used to for over a decade. That means that if you have an old phone or want to upgrade to an unlocked GSM device, you'll be out of luck. Unless, of course, you get a microSIM to SIM adapter, for exaple from microsim-solutions. The fit is admittedly tight, but after some wiggling and pushing, the adapter does indeed fit, thus granting the phone life with your same phone number and data plan as you had on the iPhone 4. You can even find a special tool to cut your sim if you are not sure that you can make it good with a scissors. Enjoy.
