Apple Bumper leaves marks on the steel rim of my phone!!

I guess I cant complain because it was a free case, but WTF? I have marks
( DOTS) all over the stainless steel.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yup. And I don't think it's limited to the Bumper either. I have a feeling any plastic that rubs against the steel band will produce the same pitting type effect.

I ordered a skin from DecalGirl. I got the Hal 9000 which is their iPhone 9000. It comes with band skins as well. If you don't like skins then you can get one of those full bodyguards or the wrapsols.

Update. The genius bar wouldn't replace my phone for this. Oh well....

I've been worried about this simply because of how loose the corners of the Bumper case are and the amount of movement that happens when you press on the corners.

Crappy situation.
