Whatsapp Quick reply

I noticed quick reply is available but it doesn't work. When I slide down or across in the lock screen I can type my message but when I go into the app my reply isn't there. Any suggestions besides resetting the device as I've done that already.

Hopefully, one of the following will help you.

1. Uninstall and then reinstall the app.
2. Check the app's settings and the notification settings.
3. Contact the app's developer or support site.

I reinstalled the app and allowed background refresh and it worked for ten minutes and stopped working again. Read through some additional online forums and apparently everyone is having the same issue. Could be an update coming soon for it...
