Finally up and running for the past hour or so. Much snappier than 2.2.2! I specifically like that I can unlock my Mac using my Watch now. Breathe app is kinda cool too and the dock is awesome. Solid OS!

Prior to OS3, I think that my battery went below 50% once by the end of the day. Yesterday, I was down to 13% at the end of the day. I was wondering if this were a function of the apps in the dock. (I have 10.) Don't apps in the dock draw power while not actively being used, so that they load faster upon demand?

So, I reduced the number of apps on the dock from 10 to 3 yesterday. I had 22% battery charge remaining at the end of the day.

So, things are back to normal. I am again getting good battery life. I was talking to one of the techs at a local Apple Store over the weekend. He thought the shortened battery life may have been due to the apps updating to make them more compatible is OS 3. That would seem to make sense, since everything is better now.

Mine has been off charger for over 16 hours an is at 40% charge...

You're getting good battery life. This is where I'm at with mine & I guess it's doing ok...?

being new to the watch for a little over a month with os2 & now os3 I never really knew what was considered a good battery life run lol.
