    Default Video Converting Question

I have never been big on converting videos for my iPhone or iPad but with recently purchasing the new ATV I'm considering converting most of my files. I can now stream just about all of my media directly to my TV but I really dig the ATV UI and am curious what is the most simple and efficient program to do this.

I've used a few programs back when I first got an iPhone 3G but with the higher resolutions of the i4/iPad(ATV), I'm not quite sure which program to use or which are the highest quality settings to use.

Do the settings for the ATV differ from the phone/pad? (I did search the forum but found different topics for each iDevice)

Thanks in advance for your input.

    Note: I'm on a PC

I figured as much, but I'm curious to know what the optimal settings would be for each device, or at the very least, for the ATV.

just convert it to .mp4 and the devices will fix it from there (at least thats my impression)

currently only using iPad and iPhone getting an ATV very soon but as far as IP___ goes it works thus far
