Can't synic my rongtones

I have about ten ringtones on my computer that were synic with my iPhone. But when I did the update to 3.1 os I lost them. I can't get them back on my phone. What do I do?

Are they still on your computer somewhere? They should still be in the ringtone section in iTunes. If you did a "restore" update when U updated to 3.1 os then U usually lose all your data but iTunes should still have your ringtones that U have originally synced with your phone.

They are still on the computer and in iTunes. Still won't synic.

sync preferences

when you click the tab on your iphone screen (the one that comes up in itunes when your phone is plugged in) named ringtones do you have sync all or sync select ringtones. if it is individuals then make sure its selected there too.

Also try this: if you try to play the ringtone in itunes does it give the exclamation point? or does it play? if it gives the exclamation point you need to locate it.
