I'm a huge Star Trek fan and this really bummed me out today. Such a great actor and seemed to be loved by a lot of people.

Not the Trek fan I once was but man, Spock has been a hero since I was about 5. It's definitely like losing a piece of my childhood. My heart goes out to his family.

I was never into Star Trek at all, but I definitely respects the man. I've read nothing but good things about him, and it was nice to see him embrace his fan base in a day in age where many celebrities won't even give their fans, the people who look up to them, a minute of their time.
