I like it way better than the announcement trailer -- more Enterprise, more crew, more Star Trek.
I'm still worried about the direction, but not as worried any more.
being a fan of the original start tre, and seeing tng as it was in production, and then becoming a big fan of ds9 and even voyager, i was thrilled with the new start trek!!! i think jj abrams did right by the trek universe. just needs to get over his love affair with "lens flare"
Wow this is awesome. I only just discovered this movie was in the making a week or so ago... quite excited for another Star Trek movie.
I'm a huge Star Trek nerd...and this movie gets me so excited! The last scene with Spock and Kirk's hand on the window echo's to the past, and gave me chills!
They did the right thing - they got Benedict Cumberbatch to play the villain. That alone makes it worth seeing. But I am confident Abrams will knock this one out of the park. Can't wait!
Not long to go now, it's one of my highlights of the movie year. JJ Abrams was offered the new star wars films but he stayed with star trek. :)
