why won't my iPhone 6 ring only vibrates for incoming call

my iPhone stopped ringing it only vibrates
the volume is on high and i have rebooted the phone
all updates are completed

Is your mute switch turned on? That may seem like a silly question, but I figured I should ask anyway.

Maybe you turned on the mute switch by accident. I did the same thing before.
