Why ismy facebook name in someones iphone contacts when my phone number isnt on facebook?

My mobile number isn't on facebook but someone said that under my contact in their iPhone it says facebook then my name? How do I prevent that from happening and remove it from their phone?

The other person linked their contacts to their Facebook and your name matched... added whatever you made available publicly via Facebook to their contact list in their phone... if they had your phone number, Facebook data was merged into your contact card in the other person's phone... all you can do is control what Facebook lets other people see about you via Facebook's security/privacy settings for your information.

If you look in your phone's Settings at Facebook, you will see a toggle for contacts. Toggle that on and your Facebook friends will show in contacts.
