Simple Mac device

Hear me out, this will sound weird.

With working from home, I use Windows, and often communicate, via iMessage, with a few people. This is local (Georgia), and International conversation.

Years ago, I owned an iMac 27". Sold it ages ago. Due to the volume of iMessage conversations, and possibly more FaceTime conversation, I wanted to add a 'simple' Mac, to my office setup.

Curious on suggestions for a Mac of choice? Hmm, or, should I just use an iPad in my setup? Might be considerably cheaper, no?

If it were me, I would get an iPad for that purpose. It’s portable, lightweight and streams very well.

And probably get a keyboard, too. Thus, it can stand 'ready' to go, on my desk...

With Microsoft Phone Link App you can send and receive iMessages through your PC. You have to link your iphone to the PC. The app will provide a simple step by step guide.
