on my iphone 6s some emails got deleted then came back and won't delete

For some reason 4 emails on a certain day will not delete. They aren't showing up on my desktop computer only on the phone. The phone won't let me delete them or move them.

1. Login to the email account via a web browser to see if the emails are indeed deleted.
2. If they are, delete the account from your iPhone and then reconfigure it on that iPhone. Afterwards, your email should sync properly to it.
