MacBook Pro Finder erroneously includes "iCloud Drive" in filepath

There is already a category "iCloud" in left panel. I certainly don't want to see "iCloud" when I'm looking for full-size documents on my hard drive - which I would expect to find under the "Locations" "MacBook Pro" in left panel.

why does "Macbook Pro" (in the finder's left panel) location include icloud in the filepath (at bottom of finder window)

Why does "Macbook Pro" (in the finder's left panel under the category "Locations" include "iCloud Drive" in the file path given at the bottom of the finder.

I am confused, are we talking about the Path bar (at the bottom of the Finder window) starting at iCloud Drive?
