How do I fix my front facing camera?

I had a friend replace a cracked screen on my iphone 6s plus. Now the phone will not recognize the front facing camera. When I try to switch to the front camera, the screen gets blurry and it sort of seizes up until it goes back to the rear facing camera. I also noticed that the screen's auto dimming function has some issues. The phone always goes back to full brightness after I reset it (day or night) and the proximity sensor has problems recognizing when I am on the phone. I had him replace the front camera assembly two additional times and we get the same result. Any help would be appreciated..
