I just learned about my “find my” app to track family this weekend believe it or not. Does it use more battery having “share my location” services turned on within system settings or do you have to have it turned on to work separately from location services with in privacy

I just learned about my “find my” app to track family this weekend believe it or not. Does it use more battery having “share my location” services turned on within system settings or do you have to have it turned on to work separately from location services with in privacy

I have all features and options in the privacy settings enabled and didn’t notice any more battery drain than usual.

I use it all the time and do not notice any effect on my battery life.
