Aux input and iPad 6th generation.

Hello,

I have an iPad 6th generation.
I want to connect it to a stereo system in my home that has 3.5 mm mini aux input plug.
Can I connect it via the headphones? Or should I buy this dongle that allows to connect 3.5 mm stereo cable via the lighting port?

You should be able to use the 3.5mm headphone jack to connect it to your stereo.
