I’d like to but the trade in/resale just isn’t as good this year. I traded in my S6 for the S7. I believe it included a 200 trade in on that S6. This year Apple is offering 150$ for my S7. Private secondary market for the S7 is not much more, maybe 175. That’s a sharp drop from what I paid 11 months ago.

For anyone who likes to buy Apple gear used and substantially off MSRP, the S7 secondary market may be the sweetest discount on a used Apple product that at most can only be a year old.
