AT&T uverse wireless promo

Anybody know if the above promotion which includes $300 in bill credits and $200 for trading in your old phone is all bill credits or will you get a visa gift for trading in your old phone? According to the small print it looks like I may get a Visa card for the $200 portion but when I call att I get a different answer every time I talk to someone different. The reason I ask is I would like to use the visa promo card to pay off my remaining balance for my sprint phones.
