Got a LG G3 back in on September 30 , 2014 on the NEXT plan and it is getting hot, Wifi is unstable and the Android OS is just a battery and data hog even with all the tweaking humanly possible. To say the least I am totally unhappy and at the end of my rope. I want a Iphone back. Anybody have any experience working with ATT and getting them to cancel the NEXT payments and letting you start again with a different device.

Buyers remorse 3 months later is no cause for AT&T to bend over backwards to accommodate you. You had 14 days to try the device, and return it if it did not measure up. At this point, you have a 1 year warranty for dealing with hardware issues. Live with the consequences of your choice.

To answer your question, no. I have never had that situation, and have no experience with what AT&T will do. But I have a good guess. And it does not involve you getting what you want from them.

You need to speak with ATT on this matter.

From my understanding you have to pay off the balance of your phone in order to get another one. Another option would be to go with another carrier who would be willing to pay off your Att balance and allow you to get another phone through them

They will let you turn in the phone and you will have to pay them whatever you still owe to get to your 24 payments or (whichever plan you chose) and they will let you do a new NEXT. Or you can pay off the device entirely and start a new NEXT. But they won't simply cancel it for you. There are ways to do it, but none of them are free. Sorry! Better luck next time!

Well I just could not stand it anymore. I went to ATT forked down the remaining due on the LG G3 and started a new Next on an Iphone 6. Yes thats how bad I hated Android not necessarily the LG G3. It actually was not a bad phone but I tell you there is just no comparison to the look and feel of an iphone. Still setting it all up so will take a day or so but hope I am still in "Love" a year from now.

I purchased (actually was free with Verizon upgrade) the LG G3 recently for my sis in law. I played with it for a couple of hours. It is a nice phone. But still would rather have my iPhone.
