Re: Is anyone getting LTE service while using a PTEL SIM?
Model A1532 (GSM)*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 13, 17, 19, 20, 25)
GSM model A1428*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 4 and 17)
Ok so model a1428 is a iPhone 5 gsm model phone
Your saying ptel LTE does not work on any newer phone
Than a iPhone 5 ?
Also if you look at the specs my phone supports all bands
As the a1428 and more but still can not pick up LTE signal ?
Is this a ptel system issue ? Because I don't see how it could be
A hardware issue showing that my phone is more than capable.

To make sure the device is compatible, we would need to know the following:
Model A1428 (any other model will NOT work)
AWS Band 1700/2100
To check if the bands are supported, the serial number will need to end with any of the four digits combinations.
Settings > General > About
The reason why the iPhone 5C is not compatible is because there is no current model type to allow the LTE service on PTEL network.
