Default I'm considering getting an iphone.

For the first time I'm considering getting an iPhone 4$. I heard that if you have a problem with your phone Apple would give you a free replacement. Can some explain how this works?

Basically if there is something wrong that YOU didn't cause, I.e. you notice a button is loose or the screen is unresponsive then they'll replace it, though most of the time they just troubleshoot.

And generally it's a one-year warranty (you can buy a second year) and doesn't cover any accidental damage (drops, etc).

AppleCare + is 100 bucks and covers your iPhone for 2 years and 1 accidental damage claim a year. $50 deductible. Does not cover lost or stolen iPhones.

The $70 version doesn't cover accidental damage.

I find iPhone integrates just as well with google (gmail is push and instant) and I find it much more stable than android. I don't miss the force closes at all lol
