well it's been another long off season but the addiction starts again today with preseason, which can be frustrating sometimes due to the lack of playing by the starters until towards the end... however, there are a few rookies that came to the league this year that will be fun to watch

where i live the Chiefs are the local team (feel free to laugh, not my team)
haven't made the jump to DirectTV (Sunday ticket) yet

anyways, i'm sure only a few of us will be posting in this thread during the season as i have found that there are not too many sports orientated people here

Can't wait to get it started tonight. Now that all the triplets are in th H.O.F the circle is complete. I see the Boys going a long way this yr.

You'd be surprised how many people will flock to this thread! We had a few football threads last season, and the rivalry does get heated.

Of course, as a long-time Saints fan, I'm biased...and bragging. You see, New Orleans not only has my closest Apple store, but my closest football team. I'm also counting down the minutes to pre-season.

rdiddy...lemme know when you root for a real team.

hahahahahaha. Ur Saints almost became San Antonio's team after Katrina but I still would have been a Cowboys fan. Been one since I moved to TX in '85. Saints had a magical season last year but I don't see a repeat in their future. Either way, gonna be a fun yr

I'm a Cowboys fan, and they play tonight.. I say it every year so here goes. "I think this could be the year"

I will also be going to my first pro game in sept. Dallas vs Houston.

Cowboys for life here and I will be at the Houston game as well. As for this season, not really to excited. I am more worried about what happens after the season.

The boys? You mean the girls... cowgirls, specifically. They're some pansies.

Well... with that insult, you know I have to be an NFC EAST dude -- GIANTS!

Jets are also my team as I'm a New Yorker (living in NJ now) and root for all
the local teams... including the Knicks =(

Giants and Jets = Superbowl matchup for 2011.

definitely... their offense was pretty good being a very young core
of receivers, but with Bradshaw and Jacobs healthy, plus an extra
year under the young receivers, we definitely gonna be a force to
be reckoned with... our defense with Pierre and Rolle (FS) is will
hopefully be back to our glory days.

Last year was my 1st and last year playing. Too much maintenance involved.

I had the 14th pick, came in first in wins-losses, but still came in 3rd in the
playoffs because a lot of my good pics didn't play at the end =(

rdiddy, not really a big fantasy football guy... but i wouldn't mind doing something on yahoo around playoff time

duvi, i gotta tell ya, not a fan of "Americas Team" either and Romo is one cocky SOB, wish he was still seeing jessica

i'm a Bucs fan so guess i can't really say much other than "it's a rebuilding year" then again every year is a rebuilding year. fml

I play fantasy football, and I really don't enjoy it as much as u-pick-em. In upickem you pick who you think is going to win the different games that week. Totals are kept for the season.

As it comes time, I will see if I can start a group for the tipb.

DUVI love the talk, say anything you want about the Cowboys just makes it more fun.
