I have shortcuts setup from my iPhone 7 and they work great but when I go out of town my wife is unable to access the shortcuts via Siri even though I have shared them with her. She gets the message from Siri" the iOS device that was used to setup shortcuts has to be on the same wifi network"...

There is the ability now to create a Siri Shortcut to turn the Apple TV and connected display on through CEC. It works really well. You can also add home scenes to the same shortcut to invoke multiple strings. ITs a start!

HomePod lost me when I found out that it does not support multiple user accounts. Apparently you have to have a speaker for each Apple ID. Hate to say it but I have to keep my Sonos and Echo devices based on that restriction. bummed
