Yes it does but I am thinking about future proofing, How many years down the line do you think the 2012 Air will have the latest macOS support I can switch ssds but then I'm still stuck with 4gb RAM

But the RAM is not upgradable so I take it the 2012 version is a better deal I could get the two and swap ssd to the newer one but then I am still stuck with 4gb
