You are not alone. It seems that Apple broke Time Machine with Monterey. I encourage you to Google search “Time machine experiencing multiple issues on Monterey (my personal issue resolved)”. It is a thread in another forum.

What I am saying is not that Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad Pros are bending width-wise, but that it appears that they had width-wise bends at the time they left the factory. At least I am certain that my Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad Pro was shipped with width-wise bends.

I like Apple products. Apple does many things with users in mind. This "notch/ears" design, however, has nothing to do with functionality, usability, or simplicity. It has everything to do with iPhone brand identity in the absence of the iconic home button. And that is my opinion.

Update: UPS provided a 9/22 scheduled delivery date --a pleasant surprise! Now I can only wish for a unit with a noiseless processor and a bright display that does not have a yellow tint.

Whatever happens with your delivery, may your iPhone 7 Plus be as perfect as Tim Cook's.

If the processor in your 7 Plus is noiseless, and its display bright rather than dim as well warm rather than yellowish, it might be worth the trouble.
