I would say if your on a IP4 then yea update. The performance improvements alone make it worth it. I updated my 4 and while I miss bitesms and intelliscreen I'm happy to have a solid performing device again.

You will only be able to restore to 7.1 as Apple has stopped signing any other version besides 7.1. If you had SHSH blobs saved for say iOS 6.1.3 you could use iFaith to build a custom ipsw. Otherwise 4.3.5 and 7.1 are your only options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
