I keep Cellular Data, Bluetooth, WiFi Off; On only as & when required. Brightness set to under 'h' of the Brightness with Auto. I always try to take my battery down to the switch off & then charge a 100% and this is what I get with my stock iOS 5.0.1 with a full charge battery just before going off.

I have been getting this error message while updating my factory unlocked 3GS to 5.1. As I am currently running iOS 4.1 so do not have the OTA option. Any work around for me on the issue?

Exactly, I remember reading it on one of the forums that the person was advised by Apple to do a DFU install of iOS 5.1 as he still was facing battery drain. And, after going in for the same he confirms seeing a difference than what it was on thru OTA update.

No, after the 'Exit Recovery' from tinyumbrella it rebooted to normal. But am unable to update the device to 5.1, getting unknown error (11) again. I am doing Shift+Update, as have already downloaded the ipsw.
