How is your signal strength and what is the size of the apps you are trying to download? The reason being is there is a file-size limit of 100mb's for cellular connections. To remove the limit you have to be connected to a proper wi-fi signal.

Remember to re-pair your remote app to your apple tv whenever you do an update. So keep the battery with the remote just-in-case. I updated to 8.1 and now it says I need to do this.

When you get to the share sheet, scroll to the right until you see an option for More with three dots over it. Click on the More Button and tap the button to turn whichever app you want activated. To adjust priority - put your finger on the 3-line at the far right and drag to position them...

I am currently playing it on a 5s with iOS 8.1 and for some reason the items area is buggy. I can't move to unlock the set-of-locks in the basement. Also the touch system is buggy. The zooming in and out for example. Also when I hit the Hint button: nothing happens except for a countdown timer...

Is WiFi and Bluetooth on? Also do you have apps that are refreshing in the background like Maps or Facebook, Mail, etc.?

Also mirroring your iDevice, if you like that. As for Apple TV being a ripoff, I don't see it like that. The reason being is that there are people who don't have smart tv's and want a device like it or similar like Roku or Chromecast and for the price it's not a bad deal.

Then after on the phone go to the Recently Deleted Album and choose Select to either select a few that you deleted accidentally to recover or just press Delete All to completely delete them or Recover All to recover if they were all deleted by accident. The folder is like the Trash/Recycle bin...
