I don't think it's fair to call him a deadbeat. The app works fine on my iPhone 4 running the most recent redsn0w jailbreak. It could be a Verizon to AT&T conflict, but regardless, that hardly makes him a deadbeat.

Let's see, I went to settings. There is a CameraButtons menu on the main settings menu. Enabled, lockscreen launch disabled. I set volume up to take the photo and volume down to toggle flash, with shake doing nothing, but you can use those to your own taste. Hope that helps!

If you google "Top Winterboard iPhone themes" you get several articles with top 10s and the like. Many list the same themes. I've found some cool ones that way.

I can't get the screen to show in portrait mode. It shows a black screen, and when I press home, just before the app closes, what should be showing on screen pops up for just a moment. I just jailbroke my iPhone for the first time a few days ago and am just vastly blown away with the customizations you can make. This one might take the cake for most surprising, though. Very very cool.

I would uninstall the app and contact the developer since you paid for it.

You can do this stock. You just go to setting, then sounds, then select on for Vibrate, and then select none for you text tone. Edit: I'm not sure selecting none is the right option for what you want. I would just turn vibrate on and then keep the phone on silent.

It's free, so it's worth trying if you're interested. It seems like it would get to be more annoying than the regular notifications for me, and I think I'd end up forgetting to check a lot of stuff, haha.
