Can anybody decipher the tech specs about the phone models and bands supported on the iPhone 6/6S product tech specs? More specifically, does anybody know if the model AT&T will sell will support the T-Mobile 3G/4G bands? The tech specs page...

Maybe for you, but it appears that carriers have the option of whether or not they choose to enable the switch, and AT&T chose to exclude the switch. Which is really a shame, since their EDGE network would probably be great for when you are in a crowded city trying to make a phone call!

I do not think that they have the ability to add the unlimited plan back onto your plan (I could be wrong), and if they could they will not be able to add tethering onto your plan with the unlimited plan. Tethering is only available if you have one of the capped data plans.

I have a question, now that the iPhone 5 will be using a new, smaller (and incompatible) SIM card compared to the 4S. My mom will be joining our family plan, and I was wondering if it would be possible to have her take my 4S and I would take her new line discount and get an iPhone 5 on my line...

I've decided to update to 5.1 and remove my 5.0.1 jailbreak (even if they didn't give me my 3G switch back...). If I install the update over the air, will the jailbreak be removed without any problems, or do I need to update through iTunes? Thanks!

Just got my new AT&T iPhone 4S, and after activating it I discovered that I can't turn off 3G! The switch to do that isn't even there. My sister also got an iPhone 4S, and she doesn't have the switch to do this either. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Well, I do think that they are technically in the right, but since you are using so little data per month, I don't think they should be going after you. I would be more careful in the future, maybe promise AT&T that you're not going to tether anymore without a tethering plan? That might get them...

I am going to switch from Sprint once our contract is up, but I don't think they're bad. Like some other people have said, their price increases put them on par with AT&T and verizon (we will actually be saving money with AT&T with the $10 charge now). I don't think Sprint will start bleeding...
