Hey, I was just wondering if anyone could clarify searching gmail on the iPhone. I've noticed that when I search my all mail folder it doesn't seem to pick up text in the body of messages, only the to, from, and subject fields. Is this normal? If not, how can I fix it? Thanks.

yah contact apple see how much they know. you think apple care has any clue what's going on with ios 5 right now? i'd bet money a lot of of apple care reps don't know how to fix your issue. :-)

i'm running lion on my mbp so it won't let me downgrade iTunes. i imagine there's a roundabout way to do it but what a pain in the butt. ultimately if i could do it over again i would've just waited to upgrade but i've got everything working again now so whatever

i can't say things seamlessly for me. i made a backup with itunes 10.4.1 and 4.2.10 just prior to installing iTunes 10.5 beta 9 and ios 5. i restored to ios 5 and everything went well..that is until i tried to restore from my backup. initially i kept getting a message that said my backup is...

Anyone here use imailg for gmail? It seems to be pretty snappy. Push notifications cost extra but I just enable badges for gmail search and put it near the imailg icon on my home page. Just curious to see what you guys think of it and if you have any better alternatives.
