Finally got brave enough to do it .... Took me a couple of tries to get the phone into DFU mode but smooth sailing from that point forward. That wasn't so bad ;) I read through everything in the forum I could find and had it not been for that I don't think I would have been able to do it :)

You can turn that off ( if you decide you want to reinstall ) Settings>General>Location Services. I didn't like that either .....

I know how to forward them .... This is exactly what happened to me ..... Check your file extensions - sounds like they are m4a. I changed mine to m4r , re-synched and they showed up in the right spot. Hope that helps ....
