For all people whom ordered through Verizon that have received updated info other than the "expected ship date 10-14-11" screen what are your order numbers?? I ordered mine pretty early (3:01) and nothing has been charged or updates I ordered a white 4s 16gig

I hear ya...im usually always by my Mac so tethered jb isn't that bad...like you said the tweaks are minimal so there's rarely a reboot required...only resprings for fonts and themes..tethered jb is not all people make it out to be haha I can't think of one time where my iPhone froze on its...

FWIW im having the same exact problem. no verzion in the task bar nor the option to face time, just says waiting for activation. I spent allday on the phone with verizon and apple, and apparently their servers got overloaded and arent bouncing back the silent sms to activate it. not really sure...

i thought for sure that was going to do the trick but after doing option 1 & 2 still a no go i'm really stumped because everything else on the phone works awsome
