I need it because : 1. I do all my internet at home from my iPhone (mac G4 died last summer and laptop belongs to work) and could really use the real estate. 2. I want to get my mom on the bandwagon as it will be her gift for when she comes from overseas.

Could it be possible to set up a lightweight iTunes client (app) on the ATV (? la iPhone iPad) to access the NAS? How about a "TotalAir" app turning the ATV into a external display for all iDevices?
