Blank icons/spaces on an iPhone - NOT jailbroken...

Yeah this is totally possible without jailbreaking your iPhone, I actually made a simple utility that can be used to do it. Simply go to iPhone Blank Home Screen Icon and follow the instructions. Blank icons should not be a reason to jailbreak your iPhone. I hope you find it as useful as I do!

Where do you put your most-used apps?

Putting the most used icons at the bottom right makes a lot of sense for right handed people. If you want to do this but don't have (or want) 16 apps on a page, you can use iPhone Blank Home Screen Icons.

Anyone else hear something rattling inside when you shake your iPhone 3G?

Hey guys I was just wondering about this... I got my iPhone 3G a while ago and after about a month or so I noticed that when I shake it I hear something rattling inside. I took it to the Apple Store to get it checked out and they said that it was the accelerometer inside and it's normal. So my...

Iphone display goes off when speaking

If by "receiver" you mean the speaker you place next to your ear to hear the other person, then that is normal. Since the proximity sensor is located right next to it on the left side. If you cover that with anything while on a call, the display will turn off. That is a feature of the iPhone so...

The new iPhone June/July release line

Hmm didn't know you could do that. It sounds a lot better than having to wait hours in line. Where do you order it online from and does it get delivered the same day it's released?

    wifi - on or off?

From a developer's point of view, it would make sense, since the WiFi needs to constantly be looking for networks to join. This takes up CPU cycles which in turn use up battery. Same thing with Bluetooth. Thus, it is guaranteed that having both of them on will drain the battery more than having...

    New Back-Gesture Discovered

Interesting find, although it seems counter intuitive that on Navigation based apps you have to swipe left while in the iPod app you swipe right. It makes much more sense to swipe right since all the UI elements are being swiped to the right as well.

Is it possible to get the Iphone to work in a non wireless zone?

There's also a chance that the app you are talking about will eventually work over 3G. Skype used to be limited to WiFi only, but it was announced that they will enable all functionality over 3G.

Is it possible to get the Iphone to work in a non wireless zone?

There are hardware solutions which will basically give you a WiFi hotspot anywhere you get 3G access. You will need to sign up for a contract with a cell phone provider though. The device itself is about the size of a credit card and more than one person can access it via Wi-Fi. Verizon call...

    Adobe Flash?

Currently apps that implement flash cannot be accepted because they are in violation of the SDK agreement which states that you can't run dynamic code on the phone. So Adobe and Apple would need to reach some kind of agreement before this happens. I'm sure that once it becomes popular on the...
