When I restarted everything was fine...I've been downloading apps from cydia with no problems now

I did that yesterday and it wouldn't work! Seemed like the home and power buttons were dead. I just tried it again and it actually worked, so thanks! What could be causing this??

I restored and re-jailbroke it, got Cydia to install. The first app I downloaded was backgrounder, and after it installed and I was prompted to reset spring board the phone locked up. Any reason for this, or just another jailbreak mishap?? i restored the phone again, but have to jailbreak again.....

Had no problems installing Rock, but when i try to dl the open ssl I have the same problem. So do I just uninstall blackra1n and try again or do I need to restore first?

Just installed the blackra1n JB on my 32gb 3GS....had no problems with the install, all phone and wifi functions are working....but when i launch the blackra1n icon and try to download cydia i get this message Error Downloading Cydia could not download Error:error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain...

When I updated to 3.1 I still had the tethering option but my vvm was not working either....I deleted the carrier file and the vvm started working fine. I haven't reinstalled the carrier file for tethering yet, but the option to turn it on or off is still in my network options.

I've been using mobile me since I bought my iPhone and I love it.... it's the best way to go if you're a Mac user!

This! A rubberized back would be love! My iFrogz case is like that and it makes the phone much easier to hold on to.

Same here.... the closest 3G area is about 25 miles away....I live way out in the sticks. But the wifi more than makes up for it.

Just wanted to say hey! Got my 32gb 3GS over the weekend and couldn't be happier to have made the switch from my BB Curve. I switched carriers as well and I'm liking AT&T quite a bit more than my old carrier(Bluegrass Cellular) Now I'm kicking myself for not making the switch sooner!
