Me will purchase a 13 inch version. The price will be higher than the 12.9 version but worth the difference.

We can only speculate, but would it make sense to launch an update for both iPads (the 12.9 and the 9.7 one) at the same time? Tablets are not exactly hot these days. I wouldn't want two competing product at the same time in a market that is shrinking.

Good points, although I don't think the tablet market is shrinking. Growth is definitely slowing though. We'll see what happens in a few weeks. Lots of rumors this year.
