I would not say that every republican believes......

  • that corporations are people
  • all women who use birth control are promiscuous
  • people with educations are snobs
  • gays are an abomination
  • the poor deserve to be poor
  • union workers are socialist thugs
  • the unemployed are lazy parasites
  • latinos are illegals until proven that they are not
  • the bible trumps the constitution
  • global warming is a hoax
  • the us auto industry should have gone into bankruptcy
  • the president is a muslim secret agent from Kenya

........... because if I did, it would be a sweeping generalization. No matter how much I want to believe it...... its not a fact.

Homosexuality is an abomination. The act, not the people. Hate the sin, not the sinner.

Or we choose not to identify with a political party.

Or claim they're not affiliated with a party yet claim how great the democrat party and their ideology is.

I never said that. I been said the Democratic party is horrible just like the Republicans. They both get big money from corporations. The Koch Brothers in particular pay both sides of the aisle.

That's not true at all. They believe in freedom and working hard. Unlike the democrats who punish those who work hard by enslaving them in taxes yet they give everything out.

Actually, he's right, in a way. The Republican Party became the new home of the old white Southern Democrats who switched sides when Lindon Johnson pushed Civil Rights Act down their throats. It still retained some of the old Republican values but also acquired much of the ways of the Old South.

How can Republicans say don't generalize me with my ancestors before for slavery and whatnot, but in the same breath ask for gratefulness for something their ancestors did?

It's called politics. Besides, these Republican politicians all look like small, shy, blushing children when you compare them to the likes of Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. Talk about having a vivid imagination, loud mouth and no shame. Although the Repubs did have Sarah... Or still have her ? I can't figure out if she's quit politics yet again. That bumbling ***** cost McCain my vote, not that he'd notice.

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson do nothing but be race baiters nowadays, they were good for civil rights before but now, they do nothing but cause race debates.

I agree. It is sad that everything has to do with race now. Why can't we view a person based on their qualifications and achievements? Why is race, Religion, sexual orientation, and so on always a factor?

What we're seeing from the Obama administration is this raw abuse of power that we haven't seen since Watergate. President Barack Obama has tried to play down the controversies surrounding his presidency, calling them "phony scandals" and "an endless parade of distractions," The Libertarian party has failed to live up to its pledges to clean up politics,

Lol, you and others still are trying to limo me in with the dems, I am not Democrat, I repeat, I have no affiliation with any political party. I don't vote based on skin color, I vote for ideas.

And where did I call Republicans racist? And you are right Republicans have done a lot for this country, FDR, Lincoln, etc. all Republicans. But fact of the matter is that in the 21st century, Republicans have some of the most backward and non helpful ideas.

They were good before, but they lost their mojo.

While I somewhat agree with you, Nixon admitted that he made a mistake at Watergate so I wouldn't compare it to that. Also President Nixon was a Republican so no matter what he did it was bad. If he were a democrat then he'd probably have gotten away with it. The truth is, Republicans were, and still are, held to a different standard then democrats.
