And that's the only good thing he's done, that is objective. Here's well put together list of five things he has done that hurt this country. I'll update this post with the other promised five. http://rightperspective.wordpress.c...-things-that-obama-has-done-so-far-revisited/

Ah, so I found a whole lot more than 10!
Lied about the stimulus package claiming the economy was going to explode

* Cash for clunkers waste of time and money

* Shovel ready jobs waste of time and money

* The Russian "reset" and Obama's "flexibility" after the election back fires

* The Arab Spring which backfired

* The Syrian red line, and second red line standing by and watching a hundred thousand people die, by chemical weapon no less

* The Beer Summit (aka, "The Police acted stupidly")

* Outing a CIA station chief in Afghanistan

* The VA administration scandal he knew about in 2008 and did nothing about until it blew up in his face

* The IRS targeting Obama's enemies, which is still being blocked from investigation

* Tapping the press phone records

* Benghazi and the death of three Americans, zero terrorists arrested or held accountable two years later, Susan Rice sent out to lie to the American people.

* Fast & Furious sending guns over the boarder without the ability to track them

* The ACA rollout

* The GSA spending nearly a million dollars on clowns and mind readers

* Green job poster child Solyndra and their subsequent bankruptcy

* The quote; If you like your insurance you can keep your insurance, period. quote; lie.

* Bergdahl Rose Garden circus, trading 5 top Taliban terrorist leaders for an alleged deserter (add: Another Susan Rice lie fest on the Sunday shows)
IF YOU WANT TO CARRY THIS DEBATE ON, PLEASE PM ME.

Something that benefited me? Made it easier for small business owners (minority) to obtain loans. I'm not a democrat/or republican. Just calling a spade a spade. Bush was trash. He destroyed the economy, led us into two pointless wars...all presidents have pros and cons, however I would be hard pressed to find a president that's worst than bush (disclaimer I'm still in my twenties).

What did Bush do to destroy the economy? During his last 2 years in office, the Democrats controlled the House and Senate. Your ill informed. Senator Barney Frank, a Democrat, was largely responsible for the housing crash and the Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae fiasco that crushed the economy. Bush got blamed because he was President. He tried to stop what the democrats were doing. But his efforts got stonewalled. Again, I ask, what did Bush do to destroy the economy? Name 1 thing.

I know I don't have to read a thread/topic, however what I liked about this forum is that it is a place where people share a common interest: Apple devices. Topics such as this is provocative, and is something a person can indulge in simply by walking out of his/her home and living life. I know we have different opinions, values, and ideologies, however I would appreciate knowing individuals on this site as people helping and encouraging as they use their devices as opposed to claiming to be more informed about economics, politics, and education.

While I agree with you that some subjects can become heated and so therefore I don't engage, this thread is in a separate subforum within the off topic subforum at iMore. I came here by accident....was following my nose down a rabbit hole and took a turn.

You don't need to participate. I won't either. But folks like to discuss this and so this is a place that's out of the main forums where they may do so. Join me in the iMore Pet Thread isntead!!!!!!:big-hug:

One thing? Are you serious? How about cutting taxes to people who did not need it. Or what about the 2 wars that increased the deficit to 7+ trillion dollars?

That's subjective based on you're political views. It's a fact that Obama doesn't understand economics, and there is little that he does understand. Give me one good thing he's done, and I'll give you 10 bad things he's done. NOW, I don't think bush was a good president either, he understood what he was doing. Therefore it's subjective based on you're political views.

My political views aren't liberal/right wing (both are thieves, snakes, insert any derogatory term). We "supposedly" have the smartest people in charge (in both major parties) running this country, yet this country is in debt. I think it's safe to say that neither party understands economics.

I agree! I hate politics. Why can't a smart person that cares about the general good of the country run? (I sort of know the answer..... Highly organized special interest groups)

The best qualified to run our country are making Zillions in the private sector. They don't want to be in the White House and have their family go through all that BS.

[EDITED]I know what I'm about to state is going to tick people off. If you don't want to get upset, skip over this post. YOUVE BEEN WARNED! Having said that, I am utterly amazed at the amount of people who truly believe that the reason our beloved country is in the current mess that it's in is because of George W. Bush. Yet, after 6 years of leadership under the oval office's current occupant, some people flat out refuse to see the damage done to this nation in regard to debt, joblessness, political correctness, and race-relations, to name a few. I don't care whether you're conservative, liberal or independent. You are not helping this nation as a whole by pretending that BHO is faultless or by defending him or his failures because of the symbolism of his election. Now, people love to say (including BHO) that Congress isn't doing its job. Yet, BHO stumps for many of those same members of Congress, and a lot of "we the people" re-elect the very people we claim to not be doing their jobs. Is that Congress' fault or the fault of we the people? Finally, I'm sick and tired of certain people falling for the "conservatives are for the rich" and "liberals are for the little people" crap. Wake the heck up! How is it that rich liberals stand before the little people and claim the other side is only for the rich and powerful when they themselves are rich and powerful? They live in the same neighborhoods, eat at the same restaurants, work in the same sectors, but yet, only the liberal side care for the little people. Really? Unbelievable! Liberals equal "we will do it for you" whereas conservatives equate to "this is how it's done". See the difference? It's a "feed me" vs "showing me how to feed myself" kind of thing. If you're ticked off at what I've posted then you should have skipped over it like I warned you to do beforehand....:)...Okay, I'm done venting. Forgive me for any typos. I'll clean up any errors later on. C-ya!

I agree. Politics from both sides are responsible for the political correctness you mentioned, and it drives me crazy! If the democrats have a good idea, why the hell can't the republicans vote for it? And if the republicans have a good idea, why the hell can't the democrats vote for it? It's sending our country to hell! Also, the idea that the liberal socialists have that higher taxes and more regulation will grow the economy is 5-year-old talk. It's obvious those people are out of touch with reality.( while they ironically claim fiscal conservatives are out of touch with reality by not support a higher government price control on labor) I recently heard on NPR(of all places!!) about a small manufacturer that was having to pay 51% in cooperate taxes! Now think about that... The business owner said the high tax rate he had to pay was hindering him from hiring more, and that he totally understands why larger cooperations are moving to countries where the cooperate tax rates are well below 20%.

"It's amazing how much value people place on pawns...forgetting the kings and queens are making the calls safely behind them."

I read that somewhere a long time ago...keeps my head straight when it comes to politics. Don't let the highlighted pawn distract you from the long con going on behind the scenes.

"It doesn't matter who you vote for, the Government always get in."

A polite way of saying "same excrement, different president."

My political leaning shall forever remain to myself as invariably, arguing with people on the internet is a futile exercise, ergo:

Joe: "No way, no way. Tried it once, doesn't work. You got four guys all fighting over who's gonna be Mr. Black, but they don't know each other, so nobody wants to back down. No way. I pick. You're Mr. Pink. Be thankful you're not Mr. Yellow."

Everything you said is subjective also ! It may be FACT to you because it's your opinion, but there is no FACT, that he doesn't understand economics. I'm not necessarily an Obama fan, but don't misrepresent what FACTS are. And btw...how was the economy when Bush left office ?
