Why is my phone not detecting where I am when I'm playing Pokemon go?

When I first started playing Pokemon go it was fine but then all of sudden it stopped working. What's happening now is,my trainer will turn around, but it won't register when I walk , and it's stuck in one location which means I can't actually play the game, i don't know what the issue is because I've done everything the Internet suggests for GPS issues, my GPS is on and everything that should be on is on, I'm using an iPhone on iOS 9.0.2 jailbroken if that helps. Any help would he appreciated :')

The past few days the GPS has been off on my Android Device as well as my wife's iphone 5s. Both of us have to close the app and restart it and it usually fixes the issue. It isn't your device (but maybe you want to open up maps to make sure) but rather so many people are playing it that it is just an unstable app right now.
