Here's a couple I took today with the 56 mm 2x zoom lens. Not portrait mode, just iOS 10.0.3. Tough lighting where I took these and they turned out pretty well. The only editing so far is the auto enhance mode in the photos app.

yes that is with the beta. I added the borders in photoshop on the bottom 3 and snapseed on the burger
