IMG_0122.JPG

This was taken while going 75 mph at roughly 6:50am in Louisiana. I wasn't even looking at the phone to focus or anything. I literally put it to the window and looked straight ahead while pressing the volume bottom to capture. No touchups or anything. Not bad, I haven't had a good chance to get some good detailed photos since my life is very busy right now.

Really low light on my way to work this morning. The street lights were out except the one from the side street behind me.

This was the first chance at taking something in low light setting. The sun is setting on the other side of building so this was in a shaded corner.

Same picture zoomed in, no filters on any of these. On the last two i was able to press on the screen to focus more.

REQUEST: could some of you kind folks take a few zoomed pictures with your 7 Plus at 1x, 2x (optical) and 10x (digital) - I want to see if Serenity's results can be duplicated, because something good seems to be happening at 10x on the 7Plus vs 10x on a 7 - they have to be sampling more pixels with the two cameras.

From our local brewery the other night. Pretty sure the zoom one is optical. Was indoors at night but fairly bright lighting since it's a warehouse setting. Could be wrong though.

It's pretty easy to figure out, download an app that reads exif and see what the aperture is, wide angle lens =1.8 telephoto = 2.8. If the aperture is 1.8 the telephoto lens was not used.

Yeah I could load it in Lightroom on my PC and look and probably will just for reference to know what kinds of lighting the 2nd lens is still allowed to function in.

I use ViewExif, easier just to do it on the phone. There are photo apps you can get where you choose which lens you use, no matter what the lighting. Also look at the focal length, telephoto is 56m wide is 28mm.

Actually, just looked in Google Photos (apparently it shows EXIF data), it was taken with the 1.8 aperture so that's a 2x digital zoom.

Yep I have ProCamera that I normally use, these were just taken with the default app. ProCamera is one of those that lets you choose which lens or a combo of both, does RAW, etc.

Here's a couple more. I was hoping the camera was going to be as good as my Note 5. So far I'm pretty happy.
