I just got back from my 3 week vacation to Sao Miguel. I'm still processing my pictures but I will put up pictures everyday until they are all uploaded. I had a wonderful time I didn't want to leave when it was time. My wife is from Sao Miguel and her family is still there. So we didn't have to pay for food, a place to stay or transportation which made it a lot easier. It's my third trip there and every time I go I seem to fall in love with the place a little more. I had my iPhone 5 and my Nikon D40 there which was awesome because I had both the quick and simple camera for when I was lazy and my DSLR for when I really wanted to get a nice shot. The pano mode on the iPhone was the best and it just took some really great shots. The DSLR was a little harder at times because the clouds, water, sand everything just was reflecting the light and so the pictures were blown out at one place but when I got to another place the settings that I had gave me underexposed shots lol it was a lot of joy.
