Using the preview feature to quickly import photos from your smartphone to your Mac

While reading my RSS feeds moments ago, I came across an article that explained how to use the 'preview' feature on a Mac to quickly import photos from smartphones. Being me, I had to test it out and, sure enough, the import was quick. Check out the article HERE, if interested.

The Image Capture utility? I used to use it but now its just easier to let iPhoto get them from photo stream except if I have any video.

No, not the 'image capture' app, but the actual 'preview' feature in OS X.

I don't ever import photos anymore. They're all there in my photo stream.
