I have been using, and quite enjoying, iPhoto for the iPad. It is easy and fun to edit pictures, and it is surprisingly powerful. I have quite enjoyed the ability to immediately upload photos to Facebook, and be able to keep track of what I have and have not uploaded.
My complaint is that when I do so, I continuously get disappointed with the low quality of the picture on Facebook. I always assumed that it was something in Facebook's compression engine that took out a lot of the detail and quality, but I have been watching a couple other people on Facebook who have been posting gorgeous, detailed pictures with crisp, sharp edges.
So my question then is: is the over-compression on the part of iPhoto for the iPad? Because it seems to have a similar effect when I try to upload photos on the Facebook app. What have you found out about uploading photos to Facebook while maintaining some image quality?
