hey everyone, I came across this photo on instagram and I am wondering was an iphone app used to make this (or is it photoshop'ed) If it's an app...what is it called!? thanks in advance!

Looks to me like it was more likely done in a full version of Photoshop or similar product, but depending on the app, it may be possible to take a picture of yourself against a solid background, then mask yourself out and past the mask over a different image to create the effect seen in your example. I personally don't know of any apps that do this. Otherwise I think it would be difficult, at least without a stylus, to accurately cut and mask an image such as this on an iPhone, or even an iPad.
